ANDROID DEVELOPER

The Android Developer is a full time position for a mobile application developer with extensive Android (Google – phone and tablet) experience. This position is located in our office in Beirut and works within our application development team. This individual is writing code for software powering our mobile applications.

The individual in this role will be responsible for creating mobile application software for the food industry for the Android mobile application software framework. This individual should have excellent problem-solving skills, understand constraints quickly, and be able to create intuitive, optimized, and brand-consistent mobile applications for large delivery system clients and business partners. This person should be familiar with the software development life cycle and be comfortable working in a small team environment to deliver products on time and schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering      fully developed software meeting the design specs
• Working      together with the Android team, the other teams within the technology      organization, and other teams throughout the company on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's      Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
• 2+      years of significant application development experience
• Specific      experience with Java, Kotlin, Compose (nice to have) and Android      development kits
• Comprehensive      knowledge of the Android SDK
• Specific      experience with web services or APIs (RESTful, JSON based)
• Excellent      written, documentation and communication skills
• Ability      to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships
• Ability      to quickly learn new systems and work well in a team.

Additional Experience Potential

• Relevant      other Java development experience outside of mobile
• Experience      working on teams with iPhone, Web, and backend developers

The Video Editor will handle the end-to-end post-production process for social media content, with a focus on dynamic editing, sound design, and motion graphics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advanced editing techniques, including masking, tracking, and rotoscoping, as well as proficiency in sound design and mixing. A keen eye for typography and design is essential, and the editor must be able to repurpose existing footage to create fresh, engaging content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit social media content, including short-form videos, interviews, promos, and stories
• Apply advanced editing techniques such as masking, tracking, and rotoscoping to enhance video quality
• Incorporate motion graphics, typography, and visual effects to make content stand out
• Perform sound design and mixing to ensure audio quality matches the visual experience
• Color grade and fine-tune footage to achieve the desired look and feel
• Archive and organize footage efficiently for future use
• Repurpose existing footage to create new content tailored to different platforms
• Collaborate with creative teams to ensure the content aligns with brand guidelines and creative vision
• Stay up-to-date with video and social media trends, tools, and best practices
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in video editing, with a focus on social media content
• Strong proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro
• Experience with advanced editing techniques, including masking, tracking, and rotoscoping
• Expertise in motion graphics and typography, with a good sense of design aesthetics
• Proficient in color grading software like DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere
• Ability to repurpose existing footage for multiple content formats
• Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and best practices for video content
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
